What is Cooperative Education?
Cooperative education is a program that allows grade 11 and 12 students to earn credits for their OSSD while completing a work placement. Students participate in hands on learning that will help them prepare for the journey after high school.
What are the benefits of Cooperative Education?
A cooperative education program allows students to "test drive" a career of interest before committing to a post-secondary plan. Students learn to understand the expectations of an employer and workplace while gaining valuable skills, work experience and transferable skills that can be used after their coop.
